“Women Deserve Data, Not Dogma.” This slogan captures everything that evidence-based medicine should stand for - and everything that’s gone wrong in how health information reaches women today. From fertility influencers hawking unproven supplements to wellness gurus promising that the right diet will “balance your hormones,” women trying to conceive are drowning in confident-sounding advice that prioritizes ideology over evidence. The fertility industry has learned that hope sells, and that “natural solutions” sound better than hard truths. But feelings aren’t facts, and validation isn’t the same as information. Here are the facts - not fads - that every woman trying to conceive deserves to hear.
