Welcome to Obstetric Intelligence
Combining safer maternity care with the best clinical evidence and structured reasoning. New to Obstetric Intelligence? Start Here:
Obstetric Intelligence is the idea that safer maternity care comes from combining the best clinical evidence with structured reasoning, ethical clarity, and honest communication. It treats every decision in obstetrics as both a medical and moral act, requiring clinicians to use data, experience, and judgment with equal discipline. It is a framework for thinking, not a slogan, built to help patients and clinicians reach decisions that are grounded, transparent, and humane.
Launched in early 2025 by ObGyn Professor Dr. Amos Grünebaum, Obstetric Intelligence explores how evidence, ethics, and empathy shape modern obstetric care. Each series examines a different dimension of the field—from the science of safety and quality improvement to the moral reasoning behind clinical decision-making and the culture of care that surrounds pregnant women.
