The False Promise of “Natural” Fertility Care
When ideology replaces evidence, patients lose access to the care that actually works

Restorative Reproductive Medicine, often marketed as “natural” fertility care, is a set of approaches that claims to treat infertility by fixing underlying problems rather than using assisted reproductive technology such as IVF. A recent JAMA Viewpoint argues that this framing is misleading and, more importantly, harmful when it is used to restrict access to proven care.
