Dr. Grünebaum is the Director of Obstetrics and Chief of Labor & Delivery at the

New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center,  one of the top

hospitals  in the United States
He is a Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine and a member of the New York Weill

Cornell Maternal-Fetal Medicine Group. Dr.Grünebaum has delivered well over

4,000 babies and he has supervised more than 10,000 deliveries.

Physician of the Year Award by NewYork- Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr.Grünebaum was the first obstetrician to ever receive this award, 
Dr.Grünebaum published on the increase in adverse outcomes of home births. Dr.Grunebaum helped reduce the hospital cesarean delivery rate from 41.6% to 32.7% between 2006 and 2012. Dr.Grünebaum helped reduce the hospital's adverse outcomes and with it the liability expenses. The first publication to show that female obstetric residents have worse outcomes during their pregnancy

He has co-authored with Dr. Ruth Westheimer "Dr. Ruth's Pregnancy Guide for Couples" (Routledge Press, 1999). His newest book with Dr.Ruth is called "Sexually Speaking" (Wiley).
In 2012 Dr.Grünebaum co-operated with Rosie Pope on her new book MommyIQ
