About Dr. Amos Grunebaum
Amos Grunebaum, MD FACOG is a board certified physician both in obstetrics and gynecology as well as in high-risk pregnancies (maternal-fetal medicine) with over 30 years experience in his field. He is presently the Director of Obstetrics and Chief of Labor & Delivery at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center, one of the top hospitals in the United States and an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr.Grunebaum is a member of the York Weill Cornell Maternal-Fetal Medicine Group.
Dr.Grunebaum is the author or co-author of over 25 peer-reviewed publications, articles and book chapters. Dr.Grunebaum has delivered more than 3,000 babies and he has supervised more than 10,000 deliveries.
He has co-authored with Dr. Ruth Westheimer "Dr. Ruth's Pregnancy Guide for Couples" (Routledge Press, 1999). His newest book with Dr.Ruth is called "Sexually Speaking" (Wiley). Dr. Grunebaum has been named by New York Magazine as a "Top New York Doctor" and he was also named a New York "Super Doctor."
